The beauty is that that moment, that alignment is ours for the taking every day, in every moment. What if when you woke up each morning, your task was to feel good? To pick thoughts, perspectives, activities that felt right, that brought you to life?

We have that option at all times, but we seldom choose it. We choose negativity, criticism, “reality.” The truth is that your reality lies in what you choose to see. If your happiness and good feeling depend on life lining itself up in a way that pleases you, those positive moments may be few and far between.

How adept are you at focusing your attention there?

It is a pleasure for me to have this forum available to share with you. Thanks for stopping in!

I come from the place where life is about feeling good. I believe that we serve the world best when we are doing what we love, connected to the things, people and activities we enjoy. The positivity, optimism, confidence and sense of what is possible which come from that place of “rightness” are the greatest offerings we can make to ourselves and those around us. By being who we are and living with the sense of what is right for us personally, we allow others the same freedom to accept themselves and live in accordance with their inner compass.

Honoring our unique perspectives is, in my mind, one of the greatest challenges we face as individuals. It may be THE challenge; it is surely THE stuff of life. There are so many messages out there that would have us believe that there is in fact, one right way to do things. Or that we are not good enough until XYZ, that past failures can dictate our future successes, that THIS is the way it is, … The list goes on. There is so much negativity available we kid ourselves into believing that we would be better off if we were different, if we found that “one” right way, if, if, if.

The Truth (with a big T) is that we are all equipped with exactly what we need to live happily in a place of wellbeing. We have all of the tools, we can start today. Getting around the barriers and roadblocks which we create for ourselves is serious business. Odd though it may sound, it takes self knowledge and commitment to live a life in which the right way is your way — the way that feels good to you. The important thing is that we love ourselves, nurture our strengths, support our happiness and make decisions on behalf of what feels best to us.

I invite you to check back as I share my experiences in choosing to craft a life of happiness, wellbeing and fulfillment… and of course the funny stories and stumbling points I run into along the way. Join me as I fine tune my skills as choosing what feels best, living consciously and in the moment, living my best life. I trust that this will be an empowering adventure in self-exploration and love.

In the meantime, I wish you the best of everything. Know that you are exactly who you need to be.
